Obsil is a project by Giulio Aldinucci.

He was born in Siena in 1981 and began learning music when he was a child. Starting in the mid-1990’s, his musical interests began to focus mainly on electronic music. His personal “experimental” approach to music led him to use a multitude of instruments: from the early digital synthesizers of the ’80, or the more complex digital-analog “hybrid” instruments, to modern programming tools such as Max/Msp. In addition to his musical research, which always focuses on different synthesis methods and the use of his own recorded material, he also writes music for traditional instruments.

On 15.06.2006 the label Disasters by Choice released Points, his first cd album.

-December: music for the performance Questo non è un bar by Teatrino del Corvo for Centro Arte Contemporanea Palazzo delle Papesse (Siena).

2007

-Various concerts, including: SDSM festival/Interferenze (Guardia Sanframondi, BN), What If/Estate Fiesolana (Fiesole, FI), Teatro del Navile (BO),  Leoncavallo (MI), Festival della Creatività ‘07(FI), La Controra (NA).

-June: original soundtrack (with Francesca Piccioni) for the short movie No End by Stefano Lodovichi, winner of the prize Best Short Movie a the 7^th edition of "Corto Dams Festival" of Monta d'Alba (CN).

2008

- Various concerts, including: Half Die Festival (Roma), The Hole/Acque Notturne (BO), Fanfulla 101 (Roma).

- March: original soundtrack (with Cristiano Magi) for the short movie Sketches di Marghera by Leandro Gouvêa Lisboa da Costa and Marina Andrade Câmara, winner of the 16^th edition of the festival Italiani Indipendenti (Trento).

-April: original soundtrack for the short movie Oblio by Adriano Giotti

-June: original soundtrack for the short movie Incisioni by Carlo Tozzi

-October: composition Italia0.8beta for Revolutionary Sound, Radio Papesse area inside FreeQuencies, Festival della Creatività ’08 (FI).

-November: original soundtrack (with Cristiano Magi) for the short movie Crisalide by Leandro Gouvêa Lisboa. The short movie was produced by Regione Veneto for the 10^th festival Videopolis.
